Registration FAQs

Does the conductor need to be the team captain?

Not necessarily! Anyone can be the team captain, they serve as the main point of contact from the Trinity Striking Competition Event Team to the competition team.

Can I register a team if I'm not a captain?

Yes! Simply put the team captain's name and email in the form, and they will get a confirmation email, plus email updates when participants register with that team.

Do all participants need to register? Can or should backup ringers register?

Ringers do not need to register to participate in the competition, though it's encouraged because registered participants will be added to the mailing list to get updates on the event. There are no caps to teams, so back up ringers are welcome to register in order to get email updates. Team captains will be responsible for organizing and informing their team of updates regardless of whether participants are registered or not.

If I've registered the team, or if I've been designated team captain, do I need to register as a participant?

Not needed! By registering the team, or if the team has been registered by someone else and they have designated you as the team captain with your name and email in the team registration form, then you are all set! Please note you will receive automatic emails when other participants register for your team.

Are there any rules about the team name?

Nope, please be as creative as you want! Though we do encourage names that will not force us to make rules around obscenity, offensiveness, or profanity in future years.

Can we change the team name?

Yes, but not through the registration form - just email us at trinityringers@gmail.com or via Contact Us and we can update it for you.
