Instructions for Gaining Entry to the Ringing Room
Sunday Service Ringing
On Sundays the main entrance to Trinity at the intersection of Broadway
and Wall Street is open. The tower door that leads up to the ringing room
is on the right hand side as you walk in, just before the double glass
doors that take you into the main body of the church.
If the tower door is locked, please find one of the Trinity security
guards, let them know you are a bell ringer, and ask them to unlock the
door for you.
Once inside the door, ascend the stairs until you reach the gallery.
Then cross to the other side of the gallery, where you will find another
staircase that continues up to the ringing room. If there is a service
in progress, please be very quiet as you cross the gallery.
We ring from 10.15am until 11.15am and again from 12.30pm to 1.30pm,
and we meet in the ringing room 10 minutes prior to these start times.
Wednesday Evening Practice
On Wednesday evenings we are no longer able to meet in the lobby of 74 Trinity Place, as the building is closed for demolition.
Instead please meet across the street from the entrance to 74 Trinity Place at 6:20pm, at the large black metal door with the gold cross on it.
If you arrive after 6.20pm, please call the telephone in the Ringing Room, and someone will come down to let you in. The number is +1(646) 216-6548.
We practice from 6.30pm until about 9.00pm.
